You do know that the NES and SNES won their generations right. Also everyone says that MS failed the 1st Xbox so I don't see what your point was.

I think AaronSOLDIER is directly referring to the number of consoles sold during each of their respective lifetimes; each totaled a lesser ammount sold than the current PS3 hardware sales tally.

Yes but the industry has grown immensely since then. However he is right on the N64, GC, Xbox and all of Sega's console's besides the Genesis/Megadrive.
