Here lies Daemon X Machina. Cause of death: starvation by being released in the same season as Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Astral Chain.

Nah, with a userbase of 30 million and growing it'll find its audience. There are plenty of games getting released on XB1 all at the same time, yet those games still garner good sales.

looks cool!

I hope you're right, it's just that I hope Nintendo keeps Daemon X Machina as far away from Astral Chain as possible because it feels like those two audiences are going to overlap a bit.   Still though, Nintendo couldn't move one of those games to late April/early May?

Speaking of Astral Chain, at first I thought it was a collaboration between Monolith Soft and Platinum Games with Monolith Soft handling the setting, overworld, character designs and story and Platinum Games taking care of the core gameplay.

This game seems incredible and the fact that it is made by Platinum Games makes the hype grow through the roof.

Add me to the list, I was think is this a Monolith game? Then I got thinking, I hope they are stilling making that Fantasy game. The faces on the characters were the biggest thing drawing me to them. But its made sense when I started seeing the names come up.

I also thought of Monolith Soft. The character designs and some of the camera angles felt a lot like Xenoblade.

Add me to the list of those who thought of Monolith Soft. apart from the start of battle looking more like a choreographed dance performance than two people entering combat, it held my interest.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

Really really interested in this, looks pretty good. Seeing that the NieR Automata team is involved makes me feel even more excited. I wonder if it's an action-RPG (like Automata) or a full action game (like Bayo or DMC)

I have a feeling DQ11 will be in September. I’m gonna be so happy that each month I’ll have some great game to play.
July Fire Emblem
August Astral Chain
Dragon Quest 11 probably September
Animal Crossing will also probably be September or October.

God damn. And then Pokémon in November probably. Hell yes.

I know it's early but it looks like it could be one of the best games of the year.
