Stocking issues. Stocking issues everywhere...

The PS4 Batman bundle, 3DS XL, and Wii U are nowhere to be found, and the XBO SKUs are way down the charts (and Amazon had problems with stock for them as well last week).

Batman PS4 back in stock with 15 units left.

Destiny bundle is sold out.

You're acting like Amazon is the only retailer that sells PS4's. All other retailers still have Batman bundles in stock and it's still selling well at near or top of their charts. Amazon is not out of stock with PS4 anyway.

Are you really doubting Amazon and it's 100% record on predicting NPD?

No. Amazon has been correct thus far. I'm just saying going by Amazon, because PS4 is low on stock, that means it will affect overall sales it putting too much credit in one retailer. I would understand if ALL retailers were low on stock, but they aren't.

I can't remember exactly when it was but last time there was a shortage of PS4s the gap was smaller than expected. Of course it depends on why there's a shortage. Perhaps There's a shortage because the PS4 sold more than expected which would mean it still sold the same but mush faster.

This is what the Amazon 1st party listing says about the Arkham Knight bundle.
"Back-ordered. Due in stock September 5 -- order now to reserve yours"

So it's all 3rd party only sales for this bundle until September.

The Taken King Bundle looks like it has run its course on Amazon with no prospect of any new shipments becoming available to Amazon. Is it still available at other retailers or is it all gone from eveywhere?

Well, I think there is a good reason why. I believe that it is because of Call of Duty.   Being first on PS4 might have converted some diehards.  

 

Plus check out the comparisons on YouTube.  This is one of the first times that the difference is obvious.   Notice DF's lack of commentary.  And of course they probably won't mention the freezing at all.

 

But in any case its quite clear that the COD community is really getting behind the PS4 this time.
