for nintendo's sake, they should want metroid out as early as possible, especially if they've perfected the controls. that'll encourage other developers to make FPS.
galaxy and brawl won't have as much effect on other developers, i suppose.

Nintendo doesn't have to worry in the slightest about cramming their biggest names in too close to eachother. You see what we're getting for 2007, but what are we not getting? Star Fox, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing and too many others to list. Nintendo has more than enough to spready out for the life of the system, the only reason it may even seem like they are blowing through them too fast is because no competitor in the business has a lineup of products like NIntendo does.
