I'd say at this rate, by summer LA should have outsold Zelda II and Wind Waker, and after next holiday it'll probably be over ALTTP and Phantom Hourglass. Outselling OOT3D and the original LA+LADX lifetime still not out of reach.

WiiU version is actually at least 2m we know that from the Japan sales thread as when it still charted it sold enough to put the total at 2m back then.

On another note NS version alone has now passed Vice City's PS2 sales.

2d and 3d games are unique experiences from each other tbh would have to go with neither and instead just say in future I wouldn't mind seeing games connected to the lore of 2d/3d games done using the opposing approach.
