Heartbreaking for Vita.

I was just playing Sound Shapes thinking how great of a system the Vita was and then saw this thread and was reminded the poor machine is all but doomed at this point

I feel like DS is consistently dramatically undertracked. Why is that...

Pretty much as I predicted. Sadness.

Glad to see the DS is still making Nintendo lots of money. It will hopefully get a boost from Pokemon and the holidays.

What was the Dreamcast selling in its first year?

We are looking at 6000 - 7500 units a week for the Vita in its first year. Sony is in such a bad position. They can't afford a price cut, but they really really need one.

I predict Sony will cut the price in the next 8 months - It is Sony at the end of the day. They never cared what they can or can't afford anyway.

Why the hell aren't NPD including the week ending Sep 1st??? I mean it includes 6 days of August...

KH3D is d00m3D!!! Overtracked by more than 50%! I thought its preorders were high, really sad :(

3DS is OK I guess, but still behind the aging 360. Wow at DS! for an 8 year old handheld still selling 100k+ is impressive. It's been undertracked for months now. If only these sales would migrate to the 3DS...

The only good surprise this month was NSMB2 being undertracked :D 240k first week is very good especially since it's double the FW of its predecessor.

Wii sold less than 70k and over 60k.

Average numbers all around.
