And IMO it is, but thats because i prefer the games on 360 to ps3

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Wow, this title is a little misleading. That is definitely NOT a definite. A possibility, but still just speculation. The info comes from Squares Enix's fiscal meeting--where they said, "development is sluggish on the white engine" at this point, not that it was being delayed to 2010.

No point of making speculative date announcements--time will tell--but nowhere did they say that it was even going to be delayed from the late 2008 date. For all we know, they may simply pour more human & monetary resources into it to speed up development.

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

If thats the case sorrow, it will cost them more money, resulting in higher chance for port. Even in your scenerio this is a big deal

First off throwing more resources at a problem does not necessarily speed development ...

Secondly, why would you bother to rush the project? Do they need to release a product for the "Massive" PS3 userbase? Are they going to be willing to divert resources from their Wii projects to ensure that Final Fantasy XIII is released on time when they're already too far behind on Wii projects?

How is he clueless? The Xbox flat out doesnt have any exclusives that rival the PS3's exclusives next year. They used it all to win this year in software.

That rarely helps. Besides, why would they? It's not as if they're in a hurry to spend money to help Sony boost their userbase numbers.

I'm sorry Lost but we haven't heard jack about those games in quite some time. Banjo applies more to Wii gamers than 360 gamers, Has there been any footage on Fable 2? Halo Wars, even with Halo in it's name, is an RTS that won't appeal to those Halo fans who constantly play FPS's. Lost Oddyssey will sell just like Blue Dragon. The third year can be a challenge for the 360, mainly because the PS3 will have more than one proven IP releasing. Compare it to this year, only one proven IP has been out. (R&C)
