Spot on, not weird at all. Knowing Bernie, it's exactly what I'd expect him to say and do; De-escalating and not engaging further despite the fact that he's being actively framed as a sexist by her.
Bernie could've dismantled her easily and called her out for pretending to be a native American for decades, but nope, he chose to answer the questions in a classy manner and not drag her into the mud. Instead of being thankful to how gracefully he handled the situation, she's outraged her claims were remotely & sensitively challenged.
If Warren is getting emotional after hearing Bernie's elegant counter-arguments, what is gonna happen when Trump calls her pocahontas on national TV? Cry? Way to make the case for a female president...
