Forums - Nintendo Discussion - SSBB ONLINE SUCKS. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I am very disapointed. Whenever I just try to play with anyone online on ssbb it just never registers anyone. and it disconnects me after a while. I dont have this issue with mario kart which works perfectly online and almost has no lag at all. could you help me? I think my settings are right, but I HAVE NOT been able to play with anyone. Is it me? or is it really that bad?

The game just sucks terribly during online play. I myself have yet to play any random match online, because i have yet to FIND any person. The matchmaking is terrible.

The Matchmaking on this game is horrible, I either don't find a match or it is laggy as heck.

Odd. Future. Wolf. Gang. Kill. Em. All. OFWGKTA Don't give a fuck!

Fuck Steve Harvey. FREE EARL!

Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be the GREATEST game EVER made!!!

I'd take a bullet for Square-Enix!

that´s exacly my issue. It has never found anyone. I am very frustrated. I wanted to able to play at least an online match just to try and no go. one of the main reasons I got the game.

then I dont understand how this is not an issue on mario kart. it finds opponents really fast. How come ssbb cant? :(

It affects almost 95-97 of people (here in the US at least) Its just so laggy. It happens to me also; Why? i have no idea.

im in the us and dont really have problems finding anyone. now lag is the problem. still the best fighter this gen

I'm always really surprised to hear this. I live in the UK and can easily find random online matches - plus they usually run really well. The only issue I get is other players having poor connections causing lag.

You could always grab some friend codes from people on here and set up some matches that way. I'd offer but my Wii has just gone in for repair - coincidently the disc drive exploded playing SSBB online

This has been an issue almost from Day 1.

I was on some random matches last night. It was laggy and I fared no better than my 7-year-old son.

One way people try to overcome this is to exchange codes with friends. There was a lot of code exchanging on this site, for example, when the game came out two years ago. Ironically, most of those connections did not look strong when I reviewed them last night.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
