I have completed all my searches for squad members and loyalty missions.

Unfortunately when I reach the squad screen, there is an empty space second from the left.  Did I miss someone?

Did you download the Cereberus Network? There is  free DLC for another character named Zaed and he comes with his own Loyalty mission. There is one other character it could be but I'd rather you posted a spoiler tagged post telling me where you are. I don't want to post spoilers, I already had one unintentional incident with ME2 spoilers. Don't want to repeat it.

Then yes that would be Zaeed, you get him from DLC.

I have Zaeed and still one space - I think i know who it is and dont really care about them if i'm right.

If you have ten with Zaeed, the last character will be available in a main quest, that includes obtaining the IFF.

Well if you missing character isn't Zaaed. Don't worry about it. You should have Storyline mission that will introduce you to the eleventh characters. Side note: I have a feeling we might get another DLC character or two. There is enough space on the right side of the screen for two more characters.

If obtaining the IFF get's me another character then I am good to go?

You should focus on upgrading the ship and completing side-missions, time will be important after obtaining the IFF.
