Forums - Microsoft - Mass Effect 2 resource collection question *No Spoilers Please*

I started out really farming planets hard, but I have SOOOO many resources.  Is there any advantage to having more than you need somewhere along the way?  (Like selling them or carry over to replay or something?)

Just wondering how much time to waste farming as I look for anomalies.

Thanks.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Around the Network

I started to run out of Platinum midway through the game. Thus far I have never been short of Iridium or whatever is on the far right.

I have low levels of Element Zero, but it never seems to go down too quickly.

Also, the ending of the game is...

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

has anyone bought the mineral upgrade? it says it's speeds it up which doesn't interest me but if it boosted your findings i'd buy it.

You're going to need about 250k of all resources except for element zero which you will need about 60k to get all your research done.

I'm not sure if the mineral searcher is THAT important but it will not hurt to have it, especially since it provides you with bigger findings when scanning planets.

If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...

Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

No i dont think there is an advantage for having too much resources. You certainly dont carry them over to the next playthrough :(
