ahh soo thats what that annoying buzzing sound is, i have their mic sounds coming through my tv and i can hear it sometimes, in most lobbys now if im not playing with my friends i mute everyone else

how do you  use the pseye as a mic? ive got one but i didnt know you could use it, do i just plug it in?

After you plug it in you have to change your mic input device to it in the options section on the XMB. I think just like you do for any other audio device. Now that I've done that(assuming I don't change it to anything else) I can just plug it in and it works right away. 

On an unreleated note, can't you set the mic to sound deeper from the PS3 XMB? I remember seeing something like this, which may explain why I here many deep voices shouting retarded things like "Poo head" when I play Resistance.
