Not directly aimed at you Rol but I'm wondering if people will take these reviews more seriously if they were giving the game 5/10 or something.

The amount of cynisism aimed at this game is getting overwhelming. Admit it people, it's gonna be awesome.

wats the problem with voice acting? i personally dont see any problems in all trailers wat ihave seen and even u can not say any thing until full game will arrive but as per trailers i think its ok.

So u dont believe there is national bias? Behave yourself. Famitsu is proven to favour Japanese games in an almost bizarre way. Swedish mags give higher scores to Swedish games etc.

With US (and perhaps also UK) it's different.

Thats because the devs usually make the games based on what they like (Ie the hole nation too)

 

I wouldnt say "Oh its american lets give it a 10/10 just because" but its rather "Hey i like FPS and this game is decent too"

 

 

Damn this game needs to come out NOW!

Edge gave Halo: ODST a 9.  That's a joke.

That said, I don't think I'd describe Edge scores as necessarily biased.  They gave Demon's Souls a 9, and LittleBigPlanet a 10.  On the other hand, they gave Killzone 2 a 7.  "All over the place" is a better description.  They say it's because they "use the entire scale", but really their scores are best described a random.

Back on topic - I don't know what Edge will give them.  I can't even guess, due to the previously mentioned randomness.  They might give it a 6, they might give it a 9.  Depends if the reviewer is on his period that day or not.

I would give Halo 3 ODST close to a 9 myself. I think that calling other people who disagree with you "a joke" makes you look laughable.

They are a pretty big french website for reviews and video game stuff in general. They have always been very harsh though.

They game MGS4 17/20 for example.
