Let's consider the Wii has sold 1.8 million in a week twice once in December 2008 and once in December 2009.

The Wii has sold over 1.5 million sales or more in a week 6 times. 3 in 2008 and 3 in 2009.

Only the DS has sold over 2 million systems in a week which has achieved 3 times in its life.

Anyway will the Wii sell 2 million console systems in a week in its lifetime?

Another price cut or big game launch say new Zelda or Super Mario Galaxy 2 could help the Wii hit 2 million sales in a week in December 2010. If it does not achieve 2 million in a week this year it probably will never happen due to older systems decreasing sales over time.

Current VGChartz numbers has the Wii at 1,979,932 for the biggest week this december. But unless Nintendo manages to release games to rival Wii Fit+, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports Resort I don't think they can manage those numbers again.
