Not much of a surprise. It did sell more copies of RE5.

I find it more surprising the PS3 sold more copies of Terminator Salvation.

lately PS3 software counter parts have basically been selling on par, look at MW2 sales for last week.. 7k difference.. total sales have a huge difference tho

I'm seeing the same number (930K) for both consoles, still an achievement for the PS3 since it has a smaller userbase. But you also shouldnt forget that the 360 has GeOW and GeOW2 as TPS, so if anyone wants to buy the game purely for TPS then there are better options available on the 360.

Still, PS3 tie ratio is better than 360's.

I tend to entertain the thought that PS3 fans are bigger on thriller/action/adventure games than 360 fans, who are bigger for shooters. PS3 sold more with Prince of Persia despite (I think) it having 360 advertising in the UK, and more with Tomb Raider (although that was traditionally a PS franchise, so not quite as valid an example to support my theory).
