Well, it can't be busy 24/7.  Your bad luck, I guess, that it hits a lull when you come on.  Why not spice things up by telling all about your thoughts on the previous goings-on?

What do you think of Nen-Suer's posts?

Still lurking too much for my liking so there's not much to go on.  I disagree with his bit about lurkers.  We're almost 300 posts in, it's pretty easy to tell who's posting a lot and who's not.

Just so people can understand where I'm coming from, I'll explain a bit about mafia. 

The goal in mafia is to see through lies and use logic to catch scum.  Scum will play differently than the town because their objective is different so the goal of good townsfolk is to catch scum by watching for their odd behavior, looking for "scum tells," and finally lynching them.  After you lynch someone, you look at all their old posts and everyone else's.  Look at who they talked to, who they agreed with, who they disagreed with, who defended them, who they defended, and much more.   You use those connections to help you hunt for more scum. 

The people voting "no lynch" aren't playing mafia.  They're not scum hunting.  They're not analyzing or bothering to look for suspicious behavior.  That stuff doesn't just magically appear but it does come through via discussion.  The more we talk, the more we accuse, and the more we pressure people the more likely it becomes that they'll slip up.  Just saying "We don't have enough evidence" and voting "No Lynch" isn't how the game is or should be played.

I want to have fun and actually play mafia.  It'd be nice if more people felt the same.

Well you got to understand that a few of us are just beginning to understand the game, so you can't expect much from new members in the Mafia game. Until some more get the hang of this, you're going to have more stall periods like these one.

That said, i've been learning a lot in the past hours, but can't actually respond too many times, as i'm also studying for exams, 3 in the next days. So it's a question of balance. As fun as this game can be, there are more important things than it.

I ask because when I read your post on SciFiBoy I immediately thought of Nen-Suer's posts.

Finally! This is how I feel every day one. It ALWAYS feels like we're just throwing away a perfectly good day that could have been used to squeeze out a few slip ups.

OT:

KingFate hasn't posted much and out of nowhere now, he decides to join a comfortable bandwagon. Also, you don't have much of a history in this game [not on VGC, anyway] yet you're using lines like "As much as I dislike voting lynching day one". I find that interesting.

Also, I'm pretty comfortable lynching Hatmoza now. Role claiming townie first day and there aren't that many votes against you yet. It may seem like a basic role but you gotta understand that townies can be targetted by most roles out there. Any anti-roles now view you as "easy target A". Are you worth defending as apposed to any one else? No. Also, the mafia that may have killed you might consider you a none threat for now and choose to kill you later on and hunt for bigger fish.
