lol at all the WOW imitators.

I still stand by what I said yesterday. We always complain and suffer for letting lurkers stick around too long. If we are going to lynch anyone today, it might as well be a lurker. I'm not saying that today's back and forths are not going to be useful in the future. Depending on who comes up scum and comparing who they got into arguments day one can somewhat narrow down our choices . But for now (day one) this information is useless, unless someone is stupid enough to slip up like Dgc did a few games back.

So are you saying we should just lynch a Lurker and not talk?

We should talk long enough to figure out who the Lurkers are in this game, and then lynch one of them.

Sounds like a plan.

ok then. I'm still salty that wow didn't include me in her group therapy sessions though -_-

^ It doesn't sound bad I guess.

As long as we don't start complainin' about the day taking too long and end up voting wily nilly.

Assuming no one lurks.

Why, specifically, did you FoS trangent?  I was starting to look at him a little funny myself, but didn't have enough to FoS and certainly not anything specific enough to play "20 Questions" with.

I see.
Yeah, that's a decent reason -- but I think it's pretty funny that you're jumping all over him for jumping all over Dgc, when IMO you both did it with about as little provocation.

I don't agree that I jumped on Dgc. It wasn't like I just sprung out of nowhere, I was just trying to keep a discussion going and get people to make meaningful posts.

Aren't we hurting our chances if we pick on a lurker and they turn out to be pro-town? Or does it not matter if we lose a lurker that's pro-town?

I'm sure if they start posting they won't end up getting lynched.

Come to think of it, this'll take forever. -_-

Nothing has been going on all day. Then I leave and this thread explodes :-/

LestatDark hasn't posted much at all

Not really.

In many cases, the lurkers tend to be mafia members who are laying low. In a lot of cases, it's recommended that the lurkers are killed because they refuse to contribute to the game itself, therefore they aren't doing much if anything for the game.

In the worst case scenario though we could lose a lot of pro-towns during the night, and if on top of that we've just killed another pro-town, things could get very bad very quickly.

Personally I'm still not convinced a 'no lynch' first night isn't the best way to go about this. Especially now that there have been some interesting moments in the discussion that we can look back on when we find out what happens.

I love how our plan already smoked out some lurkers
