No, you see, with the mafia cop, they can figure who the doctor, cop, and what the other mafia people are. So then, POW. Night kill.

That's way better than a roleblocker who would have to guess every night. They can get lucky, but they can always roleblock a normal townie who does nothing.

Yeah, I remember now :-/

But in this game the roleblocker would have come in a lot more handy. Seeing as how the cop announced himself day two

While it's obvious Axum should (and will) die, do we aim for a single lynch or for a double lynch?

Right now I think a double-lynch is the best course of action.

If we assume Axum is lying when he says he's the last mafia, then a double-lynch is a reasonable choice because we already have an unknown list with only a few potential mafia left (myself, WoW, j0, and Falcon) and there could only be 1-2 at most as Axum is the 2nd Tattaglia we've uncovered (that's 25-50% accuracy).

If we assume Axum is telling the truth then that changes the stakes, because suddenly everyone but Son1x and dsister become a suspect again - that's currently 6 people (excluding Axum - we know what he is) - but still a double-lynch is reasonable because it would give the SK less room to hide in, without necessarily giving the town less days to work with. And there would be a 2 in 6 chance of catching him tonight (2 town lynches) - 33%

Scenario - single-lynch Scenario - double-lynch

9 players - 3 (inc. Axum last nightkill)

= 6 players

9 players - 4 (inc. Axum last nightkill)

= 5 players

Both scenarios put the town in a penultimate-endgame scenario, the only difference is under the double-lynch the odds of catching a SK are greater because there are fewer players left.

I'd be more in favour of a double-lynch involving either WoW or j0

WoW - potential mafia/SK, announced the cop, erratic behaviour like wanting to be modkilled for churlish reasons and then making a questionable roleclaim that I don't believe because it would make him invincible and break the game - scummy and biggest potential threat to town.

j0 - potential mafia/SK, doesn't help the town by scum-hunting, he just bandwaggons, his opinions are very wishy-washy - scummy.

Either way, we are now entering into the finale of this game - and I really think people need to start justifying their votes with their own opinions instead of just following other player's leads. Not doing so just gives scum an easy-ride through the day by allowing them to sink into the crowd. And currently the town is in a good position to win this game, let's give ourselves the best chance of making the correct choice.

You've said this before, and now it's annoying me >.>

I dunno how to answer to the scumhunting, I'm not certainly a big one like WoW, but at least I put in my opinions on the matter, and someone seems suspicious to me I say it...  And define "wishy-washy" I don't get it.

Not really bandwagoning, either, I have some kinda of reason behind my votes, although we kinda fucked up the 2 first days :-/

Only time I really did bandwagon, was a couple posts up with axumblade, but right there's it's pretty obvious he's mafa.

@ dsister, but arguably, an investigative role is more powerful than a roleblocker...

You're right, I have said this before. All the way back on Day 2 (and you never replied.)

j0, you are the most wishy-washy poster today by far. I literally have nothing to quote you on because nothing you have said so far is substantitive. The only time you gave any opinion about players is when WoW asked you to, and even then your post is pretty much a cop-out. Please link me to post where you've actually made an effort to be helpful towards the town.

Wishy-washy means your posts are weak and ineffectual - it's like you keep posting so no one can accuse you of lurking, but there often isn't much content to your posts (like 1 and 2) so you're just trying to coast along day to day without actively helping the town. Your opinions tend to change (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) but I rarely ever see you posting about which players you suspect and for what reasons.

Why don't you start now?

Bwaha, I like how in the "cop-out" one I was on the right road

Anyways, #1, it's a pretty straightforward post. It was pretty much what I thought, so intentionally leaving stuff, or doing it on purpose or whatever didn't happen. You see, I'm not fanatical about getting WoW lynched.

#2 was lazy, I like that list.

Start? Erm... okay. If axumblade is telling the truth, then a possible Serial killer would be between, you, my good sir, zexen (he's all quiet...) and KingFate, which I think he's a bigger criminal of what you're accusing me of.

If not, then I'd like to stick to the unknown list.

But... when Truck made the roles he wouldn't have know if the cop would reveal himself day 2

On a different note, could it be possible that the other kill was a vigilante trying to target a mafia because he was on the unknown list? Dunno how much this is likely, buit it's a thought I had for a while now.

Retracking.

I think this is hilarious because, by implicating c03n3j0, it essentially reads as "Let's not lynch Falcon095 and trangentspree."  I seriously doubt you're be bussing j0 at this stage of the game.

If it wasn't for the fact that axumblade confessed, I'd be voting you and Falcon095 now.  As it stands, I'll settle for you and axumblade.

Town wins when these people die
axumblade

trangentspree

Falcon095
c03n3nj0 (if tran doesn't flip scum)
zexen_lowe
KingFate

Bam, there's our lynch order for the next 3 days.  Not double lynching yesterday could have screwed us over.  We just need to hope we get to the Serial Killer fast.  Of course, if the scum feel like shooting each other to help thin out this list like they did with theRepublic then more power to them.

Are there games with more then 1 vigilante though?

It's certainly possible. Don't remember if it's happened besides zex's crazy game where everyone was a psychopath, though.

I think there was one game.

WoW says: "lol no, let's vote for everyone that isn't me"

This is pretty lazy for you. If we don't follow your advice, will you threaten to get yourself modkilled again?

That is what makes WoW seem like scum to me, and I am willing to DL axum and him.
