i think trangentspree is alright, really. playing the game much the same as anyone else.

also, nonchalant? about the serial killer idea that has been mentioned by just about everyone at some point? the last post before my last one was by axumblade, and he was discussing the SK. from that, i was organising my own thoughts.

also also, is it not still possible that any of the people investigated were the tattaglia mafia roleblocker, since i'm assuming there is one (there was a corleone one). would that make them appear innocent upon investigation, or would the cop not get any result at all? im not 1--% sure how roleblockers work.

Roleblocker does that, just block your roles. So you wouldn't even have an investigation. 

That's brings an interesting point... why hasn't the cop been blocked?

First there is still nothing to say that we have a serial killer. Secondly saying

And from what I have played the roleblocker is a role that selects someone and then that night the person he selected can not use his night action. And since the cop hasn't been blocked I doubt what you said is the case.

look at the chart, there was definitely a corleone roleblocker. would it not be unfair to the game if one mafia faction had a roleblocker and the other didn't?

which ALSO makes it possible that there IS a serial killer, and that the serial killer has been roleblocked by the Tattaglia roleblocker! think about it, one morning we check the chart and there's one less kill than suspected, the SK hasn't made a kill. the roleblocker knows that they've struck it lucky so they'll just keep blocking the SK every night. leads to confusion in the town/ignorance of the SK.

im just sayin dsister, a game this big we'd expect one. and you know what i'm saying makes sense. come on man, you're the god-damn cop! get your cop-brains in gear and do some THINKIN'!

and please dont put words in my mouth, i was only saying that the mafia are a bigger threat that the SK because they're targetting the townies first and foremost. the SK is just one person who isnt necessarily gonna be goin for a good guy.

And I feel really strange with all these people trying to disregard my(Dtewi's) investigations. Suggesting a Serial Killer that shows up innocent, and Serial Killer that is immune to night kills and hows up innocent, and a roleblocker that shows up innocent. Right now I wouldn't doubt it if the tattaglia had a mafia hitman with one bullet who got impatient and shot someone on the first night x.x

A Serial Killer always shows up innocent. Always. Unless, Truck changed something, which isn't likely because he said he would stick to  what we know already.

i dont think anyone's trying to disregard them, it would just be foolish to accept them as gospel. do you see my point? this has been a very long and strange game, and we need to think over any possible scenario.

Oh wow.  I'm at L-2 (2 more votes will kill me).  Unlike sabby_e17, I think I'll roleclaim.

I'm the "Alcoholic Night Watchman."  ...yeah, no kidding.

Basically, I'm a watcher with the ability to either watch someone or go to the bars (hide) during the night.

I had to ask TruckOSaurus if he'd let me watch myself on Night 1, but I was hoping I could get the Doctor, the Cop, and maybe a Scum or two to target me on Night 1.  Sadly only ArkZero targeted me.  Since I didn't die and dtewi announced he was the Cop, I logically concluded ArkZero was the Doctor.

I'm also pretty sure this is why one of the mafia didn't get a kill on Night 2 (they probably targeted me thinking I'd have no protection).

This is also why I made those posts saying I was suspicious of "???" and that I would announce lists of my suspects the following day.  If I could make the mafia/SK paranoid enough to target me while I was hiding then it means they lose an night action.
