im a sony only guy and ill have to give credit whee credit is do ME2 does give the ps3 titles others mentioned a run for there money

the characters in ME2 defiantly to me at least look way more realistic than anything in U2 the skin tones, flesh detail, everything

I meant ME2 for me is the best looking including all 3 consoles. So because of this it's obviously my 360 top to. ( As the thread says on 360 )

On Xbox 360, definitely agree. Overall...ehh, I can't quite agree. Not from what I've seen. Uncharted 2 is ahead of it in everything, though the detail on Shepherd is super impressive and pretty much a tie with Uncharted 2's character model detail. Definitely ahead of Killzone 2 in that regard, but the environment detail and lighting, Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 are ahead. Nevertheless, 3rd best looking game on consoles so far this gen.

I changed my mind, i strogly believe this game beats U2 .
The reason is the huge enviroments and the open world play. Open world gaming >> linear-scripted gaming.

I voted yes but I don't own Gears 2. From memory G2 has a bit grittier art style and perhaps more detail on armor and gear than ME2. Better shadows I think too. ME2 still has some of that almost impressionist glow from ME1. Even with the film grain option inactive. lThe bigger game would usually have less texture per scene and frame but I think the bigger difference is what the artists put in, not what the Engine has put out.
