I just want to see enemies on-screen

i just hope they don't add another 100 or so new species. also, if they made it to where they weren't useless pokemon like raticat, delcatty dustox, or the like. a more balanced mix where anyone used is competitive though i know they won't. it's not really innovation but at least it'll be different

Battle system needs more pokemons on the field.

Active time battles
Combination attacks like in Chrono trigger
More of a story line besides Team this or that wants to control the world
Bigger worlds or ability to travel to other regions(orange islands)
Better side quests
either full 3d battles or fully animated isometric sprites

I'd like to see more character progression. Everyone should be able to affect the story in a small but different way. Towns also need to come alive more.

I think that you should be able to visit all the areas from the other 4 generation's games.
