I'm just glad there's no obvious winner between the HD consoles.. This ensures that both sony and microsoft will enter the battle next generation as well.

PS3's momentum seems to be getting a bit squandered by supply issues. They really do need to rake in as much sales as possible this spring/summer imo, because the $149 360 slim this fall will probably rebalance the HD console war....

Well, my predictions are clear.

16m for the PS3, 11m (maybe 12m) for the 360. Totals: 46m for the PS3 and 47m for the 360. Considering where the PS3 started from, this is a huge accomplishment.



2011 Predictions

Wii: 17m (100 million total)

360: 13m (63 million total)

PS3: 15m (61 million total)

I don't know if anyone realizes this, but the PS3 is going to meet Sony's 13m 2009 fiscal year goal (March 2009 - March 2010).
