Insomniac Games' Brian Hastings: PS3 will win, Wii will fade

A couple of weeks ago, we ran an article titled "Seven reasons to love the PS3." This time, Insomniac head honcho Brian Hastings raises the bar and gives us 10 reasons why he believes the PS3 will yet win this generation's console war. These are his reasons in no particular order:

1. Home & LittleBigPlanet
2. Free online
3. 50 GB games
4. Casino Royale
5. HDMI
6. Standard HDD
7. The Wii fad will fade
8. PS3 has a major CPU advantage
9. PS2 still outselling 360
10. Something for everyone

In addition to those reasons, Hastings also took a swipe at the Wii, explaining that the communal factor will fizzle in time and at the end of the day, will be a non- issue. Insomniac Games is the creative force behind the marquee platform series Ratchet and Clank.

Hmmm... This leads me to believe that Insomniac's "PR" needs to shut up. They may be good at making games, but they're not very good at analyzing the market.

And your saying this based on what fact??  Its not even out yet and your quick to say it will be worthless and will ruin gaming if it doesn't fail?!?  Dude things can live in harmony, there will always be the hardcore games that won't use motion control.

Saying that natal needs to fail before you've even seen in person, what it can actually do is like saying a certain race of people need to die off just because you don't understand them.

Who cares, what Insomniac thinks, they keep constantly releaseing Ratchet games that barely even sale a million on one console

instead of expanding to multi to increase profits....shows how much they know

I personally arent looking forward to NATAL but my girl (who is clueless to gaming)keeps bugging me to get a WII, So I showed her the NATAL trailer and now she keeps bugging me on when itll get released, If a casual person as herself wants it, theres no denying other casual buyers will either!!

Besides If I wanted to use a peripheral such as Sony's Arc, I'd just get a Wii
