@ anyone

I sold my Spark ring early in the game , but I got lighting Charm though
I can dismantled this one to get the ring

the question is do I need another lighting charm for the trophy if I dismantle this one?

You won't need another Lightning Charm, nor Spark Ring for that matter. The trophy counts any time you ever held any particular accessory/item/weapon. As long as you've had one of each any time of the game, you'll get the trophy.

Some accesories are required to upgrade to others which are impossible to get otherwise. Those acessories mainly are the ones you cannot buy at any store, so just keep checking the stores.

Best place to earn gil is post-game, when you have a decent enough party to tackle Adamantoises. They have a 10% chance (50% if you 5/5 them) to drop Platinum Ingots, which sell for 150K a piece.

Platinum ingots are in no way a 50% drop for a 5 star. They drop less often than Trapa-I-can-never-remember-the-name for me.

Normally the drop % is 10%, which increases five fold with 5/5. 50% drop is not a guarantee that you will always get one for every two battles. I've had times where all 4 Adamantoises on the Steppe dropped one, and times that none of them dropped one.

Are there any on the step after the Blue ones turn up? I been farming the one in Eden, just saving/quiting/reloading after every fight for quick respawn.

Nope, once you complete the circle of missions on the Steppe, they're permanently replaced by Long Guis.

I've still to defeat a single Long Gui, those guys go berserk once they stand up for the first time >_>

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Imperil + Enfire = Pure ownage on Shao Long Gui enemies.

With 3.3K strength on Fang and 2.4K on Lightning, when using a full set of buffs and debuffs, each attack does 450K and 250K respectively. Without Enfire, it goes down to 210K and 120K, that's the difference between killing him in 2 minutes or in 4 and a half.

The gamesrader mission guide is useful for finding the stone/mark locations and that is it, I occasionally glanced at strategies and I swear half of them are "This is tough, do this on your new game+ run through the game".

There's a new game +?
