So in my "replay" of the game I';ve decided to NEVER UPGRADE my crystarium!!!

Well until its absolutely necessary....this will add some challenge lol

I maintain the idea that it's completely possible.

Save your two accessories (I think 2) for the Bangles (Silver, Gold, etc.) and damage reduction.

And farm every shroud to max and don't start using them until absolutely necessary.

Is the max 99?

If so, get that many for each one (Aegisol, Fortisol, Deceptisol, and Ethersol).

lol wut?

I highly doubt its possible, especially when some bosses could kill my character instantly at the current HP.

Maybe shield & protect could help but I highly doubt its possible

well you can try it!

I am just doing it for fun to see how far I can get.

I don't have any patience to farm.

Besides, some guy's doing it on Youtube. He got up to Hecatoncheir before he called it quits and restarted the challenge (for appropriate farming).

Well, lestatdark, that's what he gets from wanting to do no crystarium!

Once you get to Chapter 11, the enemies drop some more shrouds I believe.

It might be too difficult to farm that many shrouds (I think they drop Aegisol). Have at least TWENTY-FIVE by the time you leave.

Also, max all of your accessories and weapons.

And utilize ATB-cancel (shifiting paradigms every other turn to get a full ATB bar).

ATB-cancel is a bit of a gamble doing a no-Crystarium run, mainly because the first paradigm shift leaves you wide open for any attack. Even if he did the Launch -> ATB-cancel trick (paradigm shift while your party leader is on the air doesn't have that pause), he would have to constantly do it while on Launch.

I can think of a few bosses that could literally destroy him, like the Ushumgal Subjugator on chapter 7, if he got caught during Paradigm shift xD

The main party should be Hope/Snow/Fang, since those two provide Sen for damage reduction and Hope has Protect and Cure.

Well apparently people played FF7 with just using magic or the first weapon they got & so on

hmmm maybe I should also just not level up light's weapon and see if that adds to the difficulty.

People have completed the game without any materia or items.

And with the lowest possible level Tifa without any materia (didn't save after boss battles).

What's this easy, casual initial equipment business?

The hardest challenge on FF7 was No Materia, Original Weapons, No Accesories and No Items.

It wasn't that hard, per se, mainly because Limit Breaks were ridiculously overpowered. Getting through Disc 1 was a Breeze using Aeris as a front row combatant, being the Materia Keeper and the Demon Wall the only trully challenging bosses on Disc 1.

After Disc 2, people either relied on Yuffie's Cleansing Light or Cait Sith's Dice limit break for healing and survival.

No it isn't.

Not restricting levels makes it very easy.
