Chapter 3 is pretty long compared to the last 2
I finished 3 chapters with around 3 hrs game-time (I search every inch of every map)
So is it a good thing?
Maybe I have to take it in a slower pace.

Hmmm, i'm still on chapter 2 and I already have 2 hours and 17 minutes of gameplay. If chapter 3 is longer than 1 and 2, then I might be at 5 hours when I finish 3rd

I haven't finished chapter 3, but sussing out that am in the last bit.
Chapter 3 definately feels like an hour long if you play it beginning to end, also how you finding the game is Vanille as awesome as you expected.
The characters I love are
Sazh, Snow then Vanille in that order.
Still really figuring out Lightning as she seems like a run of the mill protangists that I've already seen in FF games, Hope yeah you already know the sort of "state" he is in. I really think he could be one of my favorites by the end of it.
Voice acting is ace everyone if your wondering if that's going to tip you over of buying or leaving it aside for anything else.

whatever jus' because you think it looks good doesn't mean i'll think the same thing, you see im basing this off +5 years dev time, this is not star ocean or tales of vesperia, its final fantasy, i expect graphics to be nothing short of 10 out of 10.
taking a break, gonna go town for abit, kinda borrowing the game so gotta make sure everythings settled.

yea thats probably why I'm being really nit picky about it.. but I DO love the character designs, music and battle system

I'm loving Vanille thus far, her Voice Acting is superb and her personality is like a shell to a deeper character. This is only based on 2 chapters though :P

Final Fantasy was never a powerhouse of graphics. Just two FF's actually excelled in the graphical department, FFIX for the PSX and FFX for the PS2 (those were the best graphs for the console at the time). If you recall correctly, both FFX-2 and FFXII were a step-back in graphical capacities to FFX. But my advice to you is to wait until you go further in the game, it might surprise you

Chapter 7 gets a 10 from me!
