True it was the best ending ever for an FF game imo!

I think that the best FF ending has to be FFXII ending, it's pretty simple, but it's very well done for such a great story ;)

I liked the FF8 ending & the song was good.

Plus the end credits theme (the FF main theme) with the characters afterwards was really well done.

But FFX's ending was just more touching with the music & the speech at the end, it stayed with me for longer & the overall of effect of the ending was very good!

I thought FF12's ending, the bit with the song & penelo giving a commentary was well done, especially the bit where she says "we can't do much if the owner of the airship wants her back"

BUT I would rank it as the second worst ending out of the FF's I played, right in front of FF7 (yeah I thought FF7 had the worst ending )

FFVII ending was pretty simplistic and wasn't set in the same mood as the rest of the game. The final showdown against Sephiroth didn't help too, why the hell did Squaresoft made such a wimp out of Sephiroth? >_
