I'm still excited!
Oh and 2000th post!
I can't believe how weighted edge is on metacritic, the real average is closer to 83 than 81

Good score :D |
To sum it up
no leveling up for 4 hours = worst decision in any video game ever
First 4 hours - 40%
First 10 hours - 50%
Everything after 25 hours - 90%+
95 for visuals and audio, 85 for playability and 75 for delivery and achievements
and this will be on metacritic so not bad
OMG I MIGHT GET IT TOMORROW!
I went into town today to see the shops & they are covered in FF13 advertising....felt happy lol
Edge's 5 doesn't bother me since they gave FFX a 6
Lets see how many more reviews we get today!

"The long wait is finally over on March 9, but in the meantime stick with GameTrailers.com for the latest Final Fantasy media and look out for our full review on March 5th. Also be sure to check out our Final Fantasy Retrospective that explores the series from the inside out."

You know you shouldn't listen to reviewers. Don't take their opinions so heavily. I laughed at the Edge score because I knew it was going to be seriously low. I think they knew people knew it was going to be low so they just did it to appease the crowd and generate hits.
Does linearity really annoy you? I think it provides for a better story, which alot of reviews are saying that this game has a good one. Linearity was fine 10 years ago, it should be fine now. People need to get the cork out of their asses and get over it. |
I know. But that kind of reception was unexpected from most reviewers.
And no. Linearity was never a problem. I don't really care if any game is linear or not. All I care about is the overall experience. Hopefully, FFXIII will do a good job at that.
