Why is everyone dismissing as fake?

Bungie confirm the following:

You can come up behind someone silently an execute them quietly. Now from the looks of this video pressing right on the d pad executes a murder mode. A silent mode for you to assasinate quietly? Doent seem far fetched at all. And to be honest if it's fake, the guys who made it have a very very high budget. It's to good to be fake. Bungie and M$ made this leak themselves. Tell you it's fake and watch as the hype sky rockets.

I bet when the beta releases that is EXACTLY what you will see.

It was confirmed as fake by multiple sources including MS, Bungie, IGN and a bunch others. Thats why everyone is calling fake.

Not to mention the music is from the old Halo's while Reach has been confirmed to have new music and the voice of the AI at the end is so ridiculously horrible that not even a beta would use that as a placeholder voice.

^ Just saying. M$ and Bungie say it's fake. I wouldnt be surprised. But that is the best fake ever if it is.

Also if this is real why is the menu pic one of the gateway to the arc which is on Earth when this game is supposed to be on Reach? Everything about it seems very unprofessional, its pretty clearly a fake.

Bungie to my knowledge doesn't work like that. While being secretive their usually very honest to their fans and don't mislead them. Besides you would be very surprised the lengths some people will go to for attention and hits on their video. I don't doubt that a mode in which you suggest could exist but Bungie and MS would know better than to call it murder mode since murder is usually an act associated with killing an innocent civilian.

Thats not the arc. The arc looks completely different. It's similar because it's round. Thats it.

Reasons why I think it is to good to be fake.

1. The Bungie logo is spot on. ( No accidentals in it )

2. It's footage of a TV screen, not the usual fakes that are either full screen or so you cant see the background.

3. The message that says Welcome to the beta, is Exactly like Bungie. Exactly. And Bungie would put Lets go not play to continue next to A.

4. 2010 M$ logo is in there.

5. The loading screen. Very Bungie like. Even the writing style that shows murder mode is Bungie's usual font.

6. The D-Pad logo is spot on. To good for a fake from me.

Personally I think Bungie and M$ have pulled the wool over the eyes of everyone. They had a leak with photos, and the first official ones turned out to be them. I firmly belive Murder mode exists and will be in the beta with this title screen. And that Bungie message exactly.
