A new Halo: Reach video hit the net early this morning. The video seems to be a capture of the upcoming Halo: Reach beta that will launch publicly in the Spring for all owners of Halo 3: ODST. The video in question seems to be pretty legit but we're holding it with a grain of salt for now. Don't be surprised if the video is taken down by the afternoon. But as far as I can tell, I want to call hoax for now. 

The video gives off details on what the beta will offer to players including some single player campaign levels as well as some multi player modes. As one tip shows, a new feature is called "Murder Mode" which apparently allows you to kill an enemy in stealth without being detecte

god dammit why cant this game be out yet

a lot of people say this is fake i can see were there coming from i mean he does hide the camera at the end so how can you be positive its real.

Yup, fake.

Yeah its definitely fake.  Anyone who has ever played the Halo games can see why this is so blatantly fake.

It's very hard to imagine that Microsoft would have allowed this considering the amount of heat they would get from it.  Imagine the field day that those against video games would have with both the Xbox and Halo names.

Actually guys, this is not fake. There is a new stealth option to Halo. And I dont believe anyway can fake it looking that good. Sorry. I think you will all realize soon this is NOT fake when you play the Beta.

This murder mode looks to be what Bungie have described themselves as an option to take down enemies silently.

EDIT: Why he hides the camera? Could be 2 reasons. 1. It has to be an employee of Bungie, if it displays the username when the game starts then obviously he would get fired . Or 2. It's a purposful leak to tease you. However it looks very real and is in junction with what Bungie already tell us.

The only thing that has me thinking it's most likely fake is the use of the word murder. I could still be wrong and I don't care if I am but the word murder doesn't seem to fit. I think Bungie would call it something else. Perhaps it is real and they are going to call it something else when the game comes out. Either way, I'm not gonna sit here and say it's definite one way or another, only a Sith deals in absolutes.
