Just like at TGS, gamers lined up in droves for Devil May Cry 4. That is, for the PS3 version. The way ballparked between 60 and 80 minutes throughout the day. What about for Xbox 360 version?

That line ballparked between 6 and 8 people throughout the day. Do people here even know it's multiplat?

It's Tokyo Game Show, as in Japan, as in the place where the 360 is unpopular.

I am surprised.

I would have thought these idiots would have realised that it's the exact same game over at the 360 booth and there's no reason why they should be waiting for an hour to play the PS3 version when they can just go to the Xbox side and play the same damn game after a five minute wait.

Does it really matter? However much more the PS3 version sells there, the US version on 360 will absolute crush the PS3 version just like every other multiplat has there by far more. I doubt Capcom has forgotten which version will sell more over Pal territories and the US.

By the time DMC4 releases ps3 should have cought up significantly to the 360's install base.

About 360 around 16million

And ps3 around 9 million by february
(if nothing serious happens (huge drop, or huge rise) :D)

I think In the U.S the xbox will outsell the ps3 version, but in japan it should be a HUGE differnce. And in the PAL I think the ps3 may have taken the 360 out by that ime in the PAL regions.

For that to even be plausable the PS3 would have to have sold 8.5 Million by the end of December; which works out to being (roughly) 500,000 per week from a system which is currently averaging under 150,000 per week. A more realistic estimate would be 7 to 8 Million PS3 systems sold (worldwide), with 15 to 16 XBox 360s sold (worldwide); and 4 to 6 Million PS3 systems sold outside of Japan as compared to 14 to 15 Million XBox 360 systems sold outside of Japan.
