I am soo happy so many ppl care :) - I telling everybody the Wii has just gotten the best gem in its collection... this is goin to be like Xenogears..the name Xenoblade will be legendary in the future.. I can feel it

Also, Mitsuda composed the music for Xenosaga: Episode 1.

Well I'm hoping that he's returning.  Just having one song in a trailer still doesn't confirm he's doing the music.  It could be a recycled song for a trailer (Nintendo does it a lot) or from another composer altogether trying to immitate the previous composers style.

But hopefully you're right.  Nothing would make me happier.  And frankly, more hyped for the game.

Are you sure the composer is Yasunori Mitsuda? That would be epic if it's true.

We all said the same thing about Xenosaga and that turned out to be lesser.

Xenosaga had lots of internal issues( ppl werent gettin along) during the development of the series so it was cut to 3 from 6 episodes..and the sell off definitely hurt the Xenosaga too

You can definately make out the artstyle in Xenoblade, it looks just like Xenogears with the character design, the main character looks like a blonde haired Fei, you can make out the facial features.

So Fei with short blonde hair weilding a broadsword, awesome?

edit: With psychological and emotional problems intact, I want the main character of Xenoblade to be a very twisted and deranged individual.

Wow the music is simply beautiful. I love the trailer as well. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty psyched for this game. Was a big fan of Baten Kaitos and I don't think there is too much doubt I would have liked Xenosaga (might buy them now that I have a PS2). Can't wait to see more on this.

yes buy Xenogears..buy Xenosaga..if there is one game you need to be hyoed for its Xenoblade, there is just too much legendary in this project

The Xenosaga series was awesome. Its just that the combat system in Xenosaga: Episode 2 sucked ass, Fei >>>>>>>>>>> Shion, Mitsuda didn't compose the music for the 2nd and 3rd episodes and that Xenogears set the bar to high for Xenosaga.

All the gameplay within this trailer is from early 2009.
Trust me, there is A LOT of time to polish things up.
