I believe you have a point.  Just the other day it was saying how many Wii's was shipped out, but not actually sold.

These numbers shouldn't be taken as gospel. I think of them as a vague gauge of whats going on. But that is a crazy adjustment. They probably just have trouble tracking OTHERS, which makes me wary of others numbers now lol.
