Back on topic then.

Those are some pretty good impressions, i'm eager for the CE to arrive here in Portugal so I can get it, but if it takes too long I might just give up and get the normal edition >_

Current PC Build

Overall...I've dump 36 hours in the game, and I'm not anywhere near completion...but ofcourse, I'm a mining and exploration fool. I've been able to find one random quest chain from just exploring...has anybody found more...no spoiler details, but it's nice to know there more of them out there.

I hope you aren't embellishing too much. I'm really looking forward to play it and have already listened to countless friends praise it while I can't play, but I fear it may fall to the Selnor effect.

It's just a really engrossing game. Polished. Thoughtful. Exciting. Combat can still be deeper and more challenging, and I wish there was a bit more on-world exploration (not so linear once you land somewhere). I'd also like more stuff to buy/loot to find. Needs a touch more there - maybe a combo of last game and this game. perhaps it;s oversimplified that way?

But I am just loving the heck out of it. I played 20 hours already, and I didn't have time to pop it in until Friday evening, so that's a lot. I haven't marathoned a game like that for a long time. And I think I"m only halfway-ish. Really taking my time and following all paths/exploring all worlds, etc.

Great game!

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

Was it the MSV Corsica set of missions?

That is the only arc I've seen that has been available. There may be another set or two, but they haven't been as large in size and scope as that series of missions.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Yup...That dungeon was great, wasn't it...The ship actually FELT like a ship, with the layout, and the action was fantastic.

game of the year in January???

That would be a no.

Trust me X360 owners are gonna push Halo Reach for GOTY 2010. X360 only owners will say Halo Reach is GOTY after it's release. Think about it people

Nice way to group all 360 owners together into one giant group of mouth-breathing Halo fanboys.

Reach is going to have to be ground-breaking before I'd give it a vote over ME2. Mass Effect 2 may be the most important RPG in the past 10 years with KOTOR right there with it. More of the same from Halo isn't going to push that out of the way.

Which series has more fans?

You reckon Halo: Reach is shaping up to be another Halo 3 or ODST game? Nope.

You may think ME2 is the most important RPG whatever but many others are going to push for Halo: Reach.

(Sorry for going off topic here ppl. Mass Effect 2 is bloody awesome.))

ME2 is the best game this generation for me...it is simply a beautiful experience!

I feel like the next game needs a Call of Duty style weapon system where there are like 5-6 of each gun, each with different dmg, accuracy, rate of fire, and single/burst/full auto stats. That way there are enough weapons to keep you interested but not the terrible inventory management system from the fist game where you would end up with 100 useless items in your inventory.

The same thing for armor, there needs to be at least 7-10 pieces for each slot IMO.
