Now all of a sudden the emmy's is starting again by having two of the biggest gay-icons opening? That's the only commonality I see between legend Elton and starlet GaGa. Nothing against gays but I was hoping that at some point we'd lay focus on another minority... Here I was thinking we'd all hop on the Avatar band-wagon on place our protective focus on exotic jungle tribes. |
Milk was actually a very good film and did not win best picture. I believe that was Slumdog Millionaire last year. Lady Gaga is one of the most popular singers of the moment, so of course they would want her to perfom on the show. Elton John, despite being gay, is not really a gay icon.
