Forums - General Discussion - Elton John and Lady GaGa to open for GRAMMY night 2010

It is nearly confirmed that Elton John and pop star Lady GaGa will open up the night both playing the Piano next to each other in a duet for one of Lady GaGa's latest records ( I believe it will be Speechless) from her latest album "The Fame Monster". Lady GaGa is nominated for 6 grammies, and is expected to win record of the year with poker face.

Elton deserves much more, he's a legend...and he's paired with Lady Gaga? Poor Elton

Elton John is still going? lol

i'm sure they will be very happy together,

and yes elton john is what you call a real legend to all the youngsters up and coming, whether you like his music or not, anyway good idea,

Wow at Elton... anything to stay relevant I guess.

I thought "appreciate homosexuals" was last year with Milk winning best picture and all the focus on gay rights. Now all of a sudden the emmy's is starting again by having two of the biggest gay-icons opening? That's the only commonality I see between legend Elton and starlet GaGa.

Nothing against gays but I was hoping that at some point we'd lay focus on another minority... Here I was thinking we'd all hop on the Avatar band-wagon on place our protective focus on exotic jungle tribes.
