Let's hope machinery is much more water proof come 2050, then. :P

I'm not sure about the aim of your post, but as a start I would suggest throwing out two-faced lying politicians and not relying on wet dreams to fix what's wrong with a country.

As a futher point to this thread by the way... Obama announced his Budget Plan.
3.8 Trillion. So about 700 billion more then last year under Bush.
Seems like to stop from hitting 4 Trillion he's cutting the moon program and about 250 Billion dollars worth of domesitc programs.
No more moon base. We could put such a bitchin death lazer on a moon base too... and a few nukes!

Of course he's fighting his own party to make these cuts so who knows if he'll have the fortitude to make sure they actually happen or not.

And a $1.6 trillion deficit, which is almost as much as the size of China's dollar holdings, and twice as much as China's holdings of US debt.
In one year.
(not to single out the US, because many other Western countries are running similar sized deficits as a percentage of GDP, but in the US's case the absolute size is amazing and by itself could cause problems)

Yeah, honestly... it's lower then I expected it all to be... I was thinking it'd push 4 trillion and 2 trillion respectivly.
So... it's kinda like being on a shoe string budget... having your car broken down... then finding out your alternator is going to cost you about 50 bucks less then you thought.
Still bad, but your just relieved it's not as bad as you thought.
