Forums - Gaming Discussion - How big is your backlog?

I have 285 NES cartridges. I've probably played about half of them. I'm not even going to mention every generation since.

OH AND BTW, AN "OKAY" BATTLE SYSTEM?

Please refer to my quote below.

I have no problems with the battle system in and of itself, I do have problems with how long some of the random encounter battles can take. Read those dream sequences yet?

My backlog is so big I had to order these pants to accommodate it:

Currently playing Ar Tonelico - Melody of Elemia and will play the second one once I finish (im close) in anticipation for Number 3!.

Still need to play ME2 on the PC, AC2 on the PS3, then all the goodness thats coming out next month/March (WKC, SOI, FF13, RoF, Last Rebellion, etc) And fit all that in while playing Star Trek Online (loved the beta and headstart begins on Friday!) Good thing I have the next 2 weeks off!

I still haven't really gotten far into GTA IV, and I've had it since release. Besides that, I have Fallout 3, Dragon Age, Mario and Luigi, Kingdom Hearts DS, and Uncharted. There's probably more.

So did I miss something, or did the definition of backlog change? I didn't know we were using this thread to show off how many games we have. :P

I never had a battle that lasted too long for Lost Odyssey. I'm thinking it has to do with yourself? If you think battles are long, just wait until the last boss on Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Long battles are not a problem with Star Ocean because the battle system is more fun. Lengthy battles on Lost Odyssey are not fun and take the game away from what it does well. As far as the last boss is concerned, he can bring it on for all I care, Edge's Rising Blade is unparalleled!

i really enjoyed the battle system in lost odyssey. i would prefer more games to have a more traditional battle system like it. ive also been finding so4 to be incredibly boring to play.
