No thanks Rockstar.
Unless they have planes, jet packs, motorbikes that you know are actually fun to ride & all the other things that made GTA:SA far more superior to GTA4.
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Really bad analogy, of course someone is going to be more excited on their wedding day rather than a day looking back on it 2 years later. Hype doesn't matter, the actual content does, and that's exactly the same content as the day and date release on the Xbox. The experience isn't any less. |
The "excitement" in my analogy is in reference to the actual marriage not just the wedding day itself. The wedding day signifies the start or the marriage aka the launch date of the game.
Regardless of the content, I would argue that late/old things just get overlooked no matter how good. There are many times I was wanted certain games when they released but just didn't have the money. Later down the line when I did have the money, I had simply forgotten and never got around to buying them again. You maybe speaking of an "ideal" situation here but in reality, while the experience may be no less, it would still be overshadowed by new games on the pipeline.
How else would you explain the sales of Bioshock ps3? Do you believe that it'll have sold the same if it launched on the same day as the 360 version or at least much earlier than it did?
"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)
"WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler
I would give more credit for a site without a box art because they simply cannot have an official box art indicating 18+ if the game wasn't rated by PEGI.
Only GTAIV was rated by PEGI (from the GTA series):

This box art is fake (which doesn't means that the game isn't coming for the PS3).

There is no need to explain to me there is truth in what you're saying, I believe you. I just believe gamers are choosing to miss out due to ridiculous reasons. If LBP was announced for the 360 this christmas, I'd be anticipating it and putting on my list near the top.
Again i stress, he stated he was a GTA fan ... so why wouldn't you get this if you're a GTA fan?
OT: I hope this comes to PS3, it's no good being exclusive to 360 now, it's had the effect Microsoft wanted.
And R* need the money!!
i hope we get some more news on L4D coming to the PS3 we had alot of those articles too for quite some time last year would like to see L4D with the new PS3 logo on it

I jumped the gun because I know who I'm talking to. and he was a big fan of GTA. So yeah I expect a big fan of GTA to put this at the top of their list. |
If he's a big GTA fan he most likely bought GTA IV already, just like I'm sure you assumed too. Now that we're on the same page, I hope you also don't think he's going to pay full price for a rerelease of an old game with the only incentive being year old DLC. Especially when there are entirely new games?
New game>DLC

I think I get your point now. My only explanation would be that he grew bored or GTA4 gameplay over time or values fresh new gameplay more now? lol, IDK if that makes any sense. I guess it's only geddesmond2 who can explain himself.

Except it isn't a rerelease of an old game, if you knew anything about it you'd know it's both DLC's on it's own disc. That is likely NOT to retail around the same price as a full priced game. Go do your research.
