I am not keen on the GTA 4 DLC anymore tbh. Because there are so much games coming in the next months I wouldnt have time to play it. And 30 Pounds ? To much for DLC really.

I believe it's true, and that they paid only for a timed exclusive.
Another proof that there's no such thing as third party exclusive anymore between the HD consoles.

...no they wouldnt. the 50 million was refered to as a loan. Which, I'm sure was paid off at the release of GTA4.

I never heard anything about this being a loan. Just that the game is funded by microsoft exclusively for the 360 and that they are sharing the profits 50/50

Its to late. I'm gonna give my money to the 100 other things thats coming out this year and this is from a big GTA fan.

since when do they get 50%?? i think they meant 50% only from xbox 360 version?

I obviously don't know the exact details ...but that would not make sense. They funded the game. Paid Rockstar 50 million to make the DLC.

its called moneyhatting. It doesn't need to make sense. Just money that transfer.

 

In other words it actually does make sense. They've moneyhatted many games for timed exclusivity. That's not to say they gained anything from the late ps3 versions of them.

it ain't creditable until Rockstar themselves say so, even then I wouldn't hold my breath the way people keep announcing stuff then back tracking lately.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

If GTA is a favourite of yours, and some great content is coming out for it, but you're putting it aside clearly because they neglected to give it to the PS3 straight away, you're cutting your nose of to spite your face.
