Forums - Sony Discussion - PS3 Update for Bayonetta INBOUND!

@numonex

Of course it can.. remmeber the Quake 4 update years ago that allowed the game to use dual core+ processors and it almost doubled the frame rate. Question is: will SEGA bother with something like this when the damage is already done?

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

Install??Ffs...Would need to again clear my Ps3 of music and videos..
Well if this will fix loading times and other problems, I will buy it.

Take my love, take my land..

Too little, too late, I'd say. It's a pity, though. The game was amazing while it lasted (in retrospect, not a big of a lasting impression as I'd thought but still incredibly fun). It deserved to be loved by everyone. The lackluster port left a bad taste in PS3 owner's mouths. First impressions are lasting impressions.

And speaking of impressions, here's my impression of ioi: "Hi. I'm eoe!"

So, what do you guys think? Did I nail it?

Unreal Tourament 3 also got a patch that made the game playable.

It fixed framerate problems, graphical glitches, audio syncing, textures improved, load times and the online was actually playable.

Like others have said, give it a patch to fix framerate issues and what not and it'll be a fine game like the 360 version.

If they manage to patch it enough to change it from being a shoddy port of a 360 exclusive to something actually reasonably optimized for the PS3 I might get it - but not before.

@d21lewis - not bad, maybe a little stronger on the accent.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Patch only fixes load times and not the other issues. LAME

I hear people say: Lame, Too LAte, whatfor ? and stuff

I AM A PS3 OWNER, AND A BAYONETTA OWNER, and this news is SUPER FANTASTIC TO me, cause my only grip with the game is the horrendous loading times, (i didnt see the 360 version, and i wont ever see it or play it to know how better that version game is, for me that version just dont exist :) ) , Cant wait for this patch to be released

Currently Playing: Final Fantasy XIII (PS3), White Knight Chronicles (PS3), PES 2010 (PS3), Killzone 2 (PS3)

Let me know how it plays, please.  As news of the patch was announced before release I've been holding off to see what difference it makes.  If it removes the apparently horrible load times then I'll probably get the game.
