I know it should be obvious, but have you updated your graphics card (and Crossfire) drivers and/or redownloaded and reinstalled the game?

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

I've tried both. I've read that the drivers may be the problem and that there were no actual issues with 9.7 (I'm on 9.12). The issue there though is Windows 7 64-bit is not supported on 9.7. Or so I've read... I'm a bit hesitant to try.

If the drivers work on Vista, they should work perfectly fine on Win7.

Ah, I'll try that then. Just wanted some affirmation.

Bah. That didn't work either.

I'm really at a loss here and EA is impossible to communicate with. They have no toll-free service, take 2 days+ to respond to emails and are utterly useless in the live-chat support.

Try uninstalling and re-installing the game yet?

I don't know why that would work, but you never know!

I'll try that again. Perhaps it'll make a difference after I had downgraded my display driver? I really have no idea. I'm pretty much willing to try anything now.

I just checked the issues that Windows had been reporting. It's saying that they're video hardware failures. There can't be anything wrong with my card though as I have no trouble playing other games as wells as many other areas/zones even in Dragon Age.

Worse comes to worst, you can just take it out back and shoot it.

Or have it torn apart by goblins.

It's a shame though, I was really, really enjoying that game.
