I can't see it being Gears 3 with Halo Reach being released this fall already. Why have the two best selling IPs on a system release so close to each other. Hopefully it's something new.

Wasn't it rumored that epic was working on a survival horror game?

Umm because the last two projects from Epic have been 360 exclusives, so it's reasonable to assume this will be one too?

I dunno. I still see Epic mainly as a multiplatform developer. Unreal Tournament 3 came out in this gen.

And it was a PS3 timed exclusive lol

Someone care to share proof of this.

A September release for Halo:Reach followed by Black Friday week release of Gears 3 would work just fine.  Could even put out a special frag fest 360 bundle for $400 that would include Halo:Reach and Gears 3.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

You would think it would be about Gears 3 (GoW3 to me no matter what anyone says) but considering it would mostly likely come out in october/november, I think it will be illogical for Microsoft to release it this year as it would go up directly against Halo Reach and it makes no sense for them to pit their top 2 IPs against each other.
