Forums - General Discussion - My high school career has been a joke

After graduating from middle school, I made a plan that I would do well in high school. I would get good grades, go to a lot of parties, and possibly have a girlfriend. Now I've reach the 2nd semster of my senior year. I failed the first quarter of government class due to the lack of studying and stupidity. My first quarter rreport card was bad. Second quarter wasn't great either, but it was somewhat an imporvement. When it comes to social life, I didn't get invited to any parties and I never had a girlfriend or be kissed by a girl. I finally got my chance to send out some college applications today.

At this point, I would have to say I'm basically "living on a prayer" and hoping that one of these colleges I applied to will accept me.

I have to say that the only person that has screwed up my life is me. I went through years of blaming others when I should be blaming myself.

I built myself upon a bad reputation in school and thats what led me to where I am now.

Since then, I've have grown up slowly but I'm starting to make more progress every single day.

I'm just hoping that through all I've done, I'm hoping that the next couple of years of my life will be a turning point.

Lol, was this a requirement to some sorta 12 step program?

6. Send out college apps

7. Ask forgiveness from parents

8. Explain to internet

Am at the same boat their, hopefully you'll need to work harder. Same here, am pretty much bombing in class and dicking off at home, I'll really need to change. So yeah were in the same yacht

Lol, I'm a lazy person who is skating through high school (3.8 gpa) while getting hit on by girls I don't like.

One of these days though I hope a girl hits on me that I like.

I am going to send out college apps as soon as my junior year is over (so the college screening process views my apps twice my senior year instead of once)

Tough break though, but my parents are awesome so they have helped me out a whole freakin' lot. And also football. A school club or sport can give a social life (or something that resembles one) to a person who would usually be a loner.



And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... For me girls isn't really a problem, I have lot of friends who are girls infact but am not in the mood for a relationship and your situation just made me put mine into perspective I should be working hard, heck am a above average student I need to release my potential and dicking off isn't going to help.

Firstly I wouldn't ask much if you want a relationship, just take baby steps and you'll get there. For College applications, if your not making it academicly just talk about all the extra-curricular activities you done e.g. Charity Work

I don't even go to Parties (a choice I made) since am muslim and don't drink so that's half the fun taken off.
