For me girls isn't really a problem, I have lot of friends who are girls infact but am not in the mood for a relationship and your situation just made me put mine into perspective I should be working hard, heck am a above average student I need to release my potential and dicking off isn't going to help.
Firstly I wouldn't ask much if you want a relationship, just take baby steps and you'll get there. For College applications, if your not making it academicly just talk about all the extra-curricular activities you done e.g. Charity Work
I don't even go to Parties (a choice I made) since am muslim and don't drink so that's half the fun taken off.
