I heard rumors, but dont think there is anything concrete. It was a fantastic shooter though. Very innovative by design.

Shortly after the game's release, 3D Realms' Scott Miller confirmed that a sequel named Prey 2 was already in development.^[25] On March 17, 2008, Miller's brand-management group Radar Group was officially launched, along with the announcement that it is managing Prey 2, and that it slated for the PC and Xbox 360. The game is being developed in cooperation with Human Head Studios.^[26]

In 2009 the rights to the franchise were recently acquired by Zenimax Media.^[27]

Seems there might be a beacon of hope for this yet.

Two full playthroughs on a $15 (new) copy just a few months ago. Not sure if I'd pay full price for the sequel but it had some gravity and illusion innovations we saw later in games like Portal and Dead Space and the actual shooting was tight. Can't imagine what online used to be like but sp was fun. I can't find anything on Prey 2 after about May 08' so that's not good. I was sure I heard something quite recently.

well the first prey took 10 years to develop... so no updates dont mean anything.

Prey was a good game. Great gameplay. And yes Prey sold over 1 million.

Quite enjoyed the first one and probably would buy a sequel if it came out. Can't really see it happening tho and if it does it wouldn't be anytime soon.

Prey was cool, because of the vibe it gave in the beginning of the game. Made me want to have sex with the female in the game. But then again, I usually always want to have sex with girls in games.

Woh, so it will be published by Bethesda! Then it's definately coming out.
