The Saints won by Minnesota's stupidity. We should have put Jackson in at the end. He would have ran, unlike Favre.

I'm sounding like a Longhorns loser right about now.

It could have been worse. Minnesota could have had 8 or 9 turnovers.

Lose by 3, or lose by 40. It's the same thing. You lose.

Besides, the last play could have sealed the victory. I don't know what the hell he was thinking.

Saints all the way, baby!

Saints forever, Saints for life!

Go Saints, beat the Colts!

That was the old Brett Favre rearing his ugly head. The sensible QB runs 10 yards and slides, setting up for the field goal. Brett Favre throws it over his shoulder, which is something they teach you never to do starting in grade school football. There's no way he retires now, because that will haunt him forever. Maybe he'll be on the Bears next year.

I have no problem with him going to the bears. He'll screw them over.

Atleast we still got baseball.

Timberwolves-Where do I start?

Wild-Alright, worth watching.

Vikings-Dead

By the way, the Lakers lost as well. We weren't the only purple and gold team to lose.

The Saints/Vikings game was the real Superbowl of the year.

The Colts couldn't beat the Vikings or the Saints. All that's left is for the Saints to go and pick up their new Superbowl trophy.

Exactly.

Brett Favre runs the gambit between great and shitty judgment.  I was glad to see him leave Green Bay because he's blown too many games.  As soon as I saw that first bad mid-field pass in the 3rd quarter of the Saints/Vikings game, I knew the Green Bay Favre was back.

Anyway, he needs to retire and send Minnesota back into obscurity.  I look forward to seeing the Packers crush the Vikings next season.

-The Colts are a better defensive team than the Saints.

-The Colts aren't bad on offense either.

I look foward to you eating your words.

Vikings defense is going to be the same. Jared Allen is going to kill Aaron Rodgers Swallows.

The Colts defense is good but not good enough to contain the Saints offense. Meanwhile, the Saints defense is good enough to at least partially contain Manning. You're going to see a lot of scoring but the Saints will be leading the board at the start, middle, and end.

And the Vikings will be in the same place next year as the Ravens and Jets are in this year--with a good defense paired with a crappy offense. Meanwhile the Packers will have well-rounded team capable of putting points on the board (unlike the Vikings).

I wouldn't be so sure. Even if Favre doesn't come back, which is 50/50 right now, there's a decent chance that McNabb gets shopped this year, and I know if Favre retires, they will make a huge play for him.

I do like the Packers for the future though. They're building a solid team. Clay Matthews really worked out well for them.
