Unless Mass Effect 2 doesn't bring in profit, which is unlikely, I don't think they'll be financially in any trouble.

I think he's referring to EA in general which isin't in good shape.

I'm not sure porting Mass Effect 2 to the PS3 will make much difference, but to each his own.

the mass effect games is undoubtedly the ONLY game i really want that's on xbox. i don't wanna buy an xbox just for 2 games, so if this comes to the ps3 along with the first mass effect, EA and bioware will get my 60-100 bucks. =P

PS3 owners have been waiting for a word, any word that would favor the arrival of Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3, however nothing solid has surfaced, only rumors and speculation. Well now it would seem Geoff Keighley has some inside information concerning the game’s arrival on PS3, and how it’s only a matter of time till this happens.

“Now the fact that [Mass Effect 2] is only on Xbox 360, a lot of debate now about whether it makes sense for publishers to make those games exclusive to a platform,” Keighley said, “I think the game will eventually come out for PlayStation 3 but they just can’t talk about it yet.”

Do you think Keighley is right? The game comes out next week for PC and Xbox 360, rumors have it that ME2 has been leaked on torrent sites, if true it could mean tens of thousands in lost dollars for EA and Bioware.

That is not what I'd call inside information. That is an opinion, not an inside source.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
