Lol!
lestatdark; there was no copying and iD are awesome, I think that's pretty much it (the part about the copying was a response to some of the first posts claiming it).

Well it seems like everyone was thinking the same thing.
This is the love child of Borderlands and Fallout 3.

I'm just hoping that they show us Doom 4 on this year Quakecon, it's going to be epic, especially if they are focusing on an entire new approach to the story (supposedly the hired a famous scriptwritter to create the story itself) :D

It's going to probably require a high-end PC though, and there's no way I'm getting the console versions.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Well, taking in consideration that Doom 3 was the Crysis of 2004 in terms of specs, I agree that Doom 4 probably will need some very high-end PC to run it properly. PC all the way for me as well.

artstyle looks a lot like borderlands and fallout 3
borderlands is to this game , what titan quest is to diablo 2. Seriously they are in 2 different leagues, there's really no comparing.

I agree. Diablo 2 and Borderlands are in two completely different leagues xD
Seriously, Rage isn't even a RPG, it's a racing/FPS game, that comparisson is kinda moot.

but still the atmosphere so far seems kinda the same, only from what i've seen on Rage a whole lot grander, you know bigger etc,

I agree that the atmosphere is similar, but in reality, Rage was announced before Borderlands was. The Post-Apocalyptic scenario is very much alike in various games and movies all the same, we have Mad Max to thank for that
