I don't think the title is dramatic, it's more funny in my opinion, but yes it's nothing negative; it's not even a good argument Microsoft can do a much better argument than poiting at the Wii in the dismiss,

thats the thing they won't do it, since they sell it for ALOT cheaper.
microsoft accesories are overpriced.

I just read up on Datel... I just have to say they are basically crooks. It seems like a lot of the stuff they make for consoles are used fro hacking and piracy.
I am glad that Microsoft had the opportunity to block them out. I am sure that if they could Sony and Nintendo would do the same in a heartbeat
lol @ Datel using message board arguments in a court case. I'd imagine there's more elasticity than they imagine. Not that the whole markets are interchangeable, certainly, but the mid-range users in both markets would probably see them as interchangeable, though the extremes of both the Wii and 360 markets would see their sides as the only one.
Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

datel also makes generic memory cards. They also blocked madcatz (lol, do they still exist?) and every other company that wants to make cheap memory cards. If they were trying to block hacking tools, then I'm fine with it, but they didn't block any hacking tools, they just blocked memory cards

I guess Ballmer stole his children's WiiFit and jumped on it until it was reduced to dust to get relief from that.

From the article that I am reading the only company that makes storage systems for the Xbox are Datel. Which can be used to download saves off the internet for most of the 360 games. Which violates Microsoft's terms of use.
I am sure most people don't do this, but I can see why Microsoft chose to block them
